It’s the Sweet 16, round at the Prudential Center home of the New Jersey Devils. It’s the no. 2 seed Alabama, vs. no. 6 BYU.

BYU beat Wisconsin by two points in a nailbiter with a score of 91-89 to advance to Sweet 16. Alabama also advanced by beating no. 7, St Mary’s (CA), by a score of 80-66.

The first half ends with Alabama taking an 11 point lead, 51-40. LaBaron Philon tallied six points, one rebound, one assist, and one foul. Grant Nelson recorded six points, three boards, one assist, and one foul.

For BYU, Richie Saunders scored 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one foul. It’s all Alabama as they look to build on the momentum, byu looks to make a comeback.

It was all Alabama as they won by a score of 113-88. They did not let off the gas as Mike Sears of Alabama scored 17 points, five assists, and two steals. They move on to play the winner of Duke or Arizona on March 29th in the Elite Eight series. The winner moves on to the final four in San Antonio.
