Six Flags, which is located in Jackson New Jersey, has moved forward with the demolition of the famous roller coaster. Since 2005, the rollar coaster set a record-breaking milestone launching its Marvel Riders 128mph in just 3.5 seconds, reaching heights of 465 feet in the air.

The explosion was supposed to occur at 7am, but instead, it happened two hours earlier than expected.

Six Flags had announced that they’d be closing Kinda Ka as well as the Green Lantern rides to make room for a new “multi-world-record-breaking launch roller coaster” that will debut at the theme park in 2026.
