Douglas, Massachusetts Registered Sex Offender Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Charges

On Friday, at the United States District Court in Worcester, Massachusetts, Corey Bouchard, a 34-year-old resident of Douglas, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty accessing child pornography with the intent to view it. 

Bouchard’s legal troubles began with a complaint filed in April 2024, following a Project Safe Childhood investigation, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. 

In November 2023, law enforcement officials conducted a search of his home, during which they discovered a cache file on his cell phone. This file contained approximately 72 videos that graphically depicted child pornography. Notably, the file names of around 56 of these videos corresponded with media files that had been disseminated in Kik messenger group chats that Bouchard was known to be a part of.

Bouchard is not new to these charges; he has a previous state conviction for possession of child pornography and is a registered sex offender.

U.S. District Court Judge Margaret R. Guzman has set a date for sentencing, which is scheduled for May 7, 2025, in Worcester.
