The NYPD is investigating the fatal stabbing of a shelter worker in Brooklyn. It happened just after 6PM Thursday night at a shelter on East New York Avenue in Brownsville.

When officers arrived, they located the 36-year-old male victim in the lobby of the shelter with stab wounds to his neck and abdomen.

The victim, who has been identified as Robbie Miller, was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he died.

NYPD hasn’t made an arrest, but they say the suspect was wearing a black ski mask and baseball cap when he left the scene heading northbound on Sackman Street.
