New York State Police Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Clay, New York

State Police In New York are investigating a fatal vehicle crash on County Route 57 in Clay, New York. It happened Sunday morning just after 11:00 a.m.
Troopers with New York State Police responded to a two-car personal injury accident at the intersection of State Route 31 and County Route 57.
After reconstructing the crash, New York State Police said, “A 2014 Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on County Route 57 speeding through a red light at the intersection and struck a 2016 Ford Escape, that was traveling westbound on State Route 31.”
The operator of the Mustang, New York State Police has identified as Michael E. Paetow, age 72, from Liverpool, NY.
Paetow was transported to Upstate University Hospital and pronounced deceased.
The operator of the Escape, New York State Police has been identified as Shaylee A. Allen, 26, from Tully, NY, and an 11-month-old passenger in the backseat, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the front passenger, whom the New York State Police has identified as Dawn M. Brown, 58, of Syracuse, NY, was transported to Upstate University Hospital and pronounced deceased.
