Since Thursday night, the Rhode Island State Police have made four arrests for driving under the influence.

At 11:31 PM on Thursday, Steven C. Xenopoulos, 51, of Warwick, Rhode Island, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with an unknown blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and for refusing to submit to a chemical test. This arrest followed a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of West Greenwich.

Early Friday morning at 12:40 AM, Yoisber Moncada Ruis, 28, of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested for driving under the influence of liquor with a BAC of .10 to .15 for the first offense. Ruis was pulled over on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston.

At 11:18 PM on Friday night, Joel Martinez, 31, of Johnston, Rhode Island, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with an unknown BAC for the first offense, and for refusing to submit to a chemical test for the first offense. Troopers pulled Martinez over on Public Street in Providence.

Early Saturday morning at 2:53 AM, Anthony R. Dejesus, 23, of Bellingham, Massachusetts, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with a BAC of .10 to .15, and for destruction of public property. This arrest came after Troopers initially responded to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 6.
