Friday night football games in the Bay State were filled with intense emotions and some remarkable victories. Chicopee Comprehensive suffered a tough 54-6 loss against West Springfield, while East Longmeadow secured a solid 31-14 win over Minnechaug. Amherst-Pelham also faced a defeat, falling 38-20 to Westfield.

In the Milton and Framingham matchup, Milton emerged victorious with a 35-7 win. The game saw an outstanding performance from Patrick Collins, who delivered two passing touchdowns and ran for two more. Aidan Rowley’s 30-yard pick-6 in the second half further boosted Milton’s lead.

Meanwhile, Weymouth dominated their game against Newton North, clinching a commanding 49-0 victory. Tyler Munchbach’s explosive 64-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter set the tone for the game, followed by a 20-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter. Cameron Aieta contributed three rushing touchdowns, while Amahri Gomes and Brendan Flynn each added a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

East Boston secured a hard-fought 38-28 win against Brighton, with senior Giovanni Angelico’s game-sealing 26-yard interception return in the fourth quarter proving crucial.

In other matchups, Boston’s English High claimed a 14-6 victory against TechBoston, while Latin Academy fell to KIPP Academy with the same scoreline.

Over in Worcester, Burncoat secured a dominant 41-6 win over Abby Kelley Foster. However, Doherty of Worcester faced a disappointing 27-19 loss to Leominster, and South High suffered a 40-0 defeat against Grafton.

One of the most talked-about matchups of the week was between Quaboag and Palmer, with Palmer securing a narrow 27-26 win.

In a standout game, Mansfield secured a resounding 48-0 victory over Johnston, with Sean McCoy and Christian Nielson both contributing a pair of rushing touchdowns.
