The Cs win last Monday night, also represents only the second time in the Celtics’ history that they have completed a four-game sweep in the Conference Finals, the first instance being the 1986 team versus Milwaukee.

Throughout this postseason, the Celtics have been on an impressive winning streak, with seven straight playoff victories – including six wins on the road and three elimination game wins. Their overall record for the year stands at 76-20, which ties the third-most total wins in a season in the franchise’s history, with the all-time record of 82 wins set in 2007-08 and 86 wins in 1985-86.

The Celtics’ 79.2 winning percentage ranks 13th in NBA history for the highest winning percentage in a single season with at least 76 wins, reflecting their dominant performance this year.

Looking ahead, the Celtics are set to meet the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, with the first game scheduled to take place at TD Garden. The Celtics previously swept the season series against the Mavericks for the second consecutive year, with a standout 138-110 victory at home. In that game, Jayson Tatum showcased his scoring prowess with 32 points, shooting 52.6 percent from the field, including 5-for-9 from three-point territory, along with eight rebounds and three assists.

Additionally, Jaylen Brown contributed 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and one steal, while Derrick White added 13 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocked shots, and one steal, underscoring the depth of talent in the Celtics’ roster.
