On Saturday, the Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) faced a setback as their game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders was postponed due to inclement weather. However, the team has rescheduled for a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 1:05 pm at Polar Park, and both games on Sunday will be 7 innings each.
For fans who were holding tickets for Saturday’s game, the team has made arrangements for ticket exchanges. They can trade those tickets in for any remaining WooSox home game this season, subject to availability. Additionally, fans with hard tickets for Saturday’s game can exchange them for a similar ticket of equal or lesser value. Those with electronic tickets can make the exchange either in person at the Polar Park box office or online at woosox.com. Digital tickets can be presented at the Ticket Office to be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value, based on availability. For further assistance, fans can also reach out to the Ticket Office staff at 508-500-8888.
Despite the weather-related challenges, the WooSox have demonstrated a strong performance in their recent home games, boasting a 5-1 record against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at the conclusion of their last six-game homestand. Looking ahead, the team is currently 3-1 in their last four home games against the RailRiders and is eager to maintain their winning momentum as they face the RailRiders in the upcoming doubleheader on Sunday.
Gates will open at 11:30 am for the doubleheader on Sunday, providing fans with ample time to enjoy the game day experience at Polar Park.
