Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, have charged 18-year-old Baraka Janvier of Lowell, Massachusetts with Robbery, Class A Felony. 

Nashua Police says that on April 16, 2024, officers responded to the area of Blacksmith Way for the report of an armed robbery with a gun. 

The victim, a United States Postal Service (USPS) mail carrier, told Nashua Police that he was he at gunpoint by a male, who later was identified as Janvier. 

The victim told Nashua Police that Janvier demanded the victim’s postal keys, which grants access to every mail dispenser in the City of Nashua. 

Officers who responded were talked with several witnesses and also located video surveillance of the incident.

The case was handed off to Nashua Police Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division along with the assistance of Special Agents with USPS and the Lowell, MA Police Department. 

Nashua Police say they interviewed witnesses, located additional video surveillance, and were able to identify multiple people of interest as well as the vehicle the suspects used, which eventually was located in Lowell, Massachusetts.
