On Monday at Dorchester District Court, Joseph Bonhuer Vilbrun was arraigned before Judge Erika Reis for possession to distribute class A drug, trafficking in cocaine (100 Grams or more, less 200 grams), possession class B drug, two counts of possession of firearm without FID card, possession of ammunition without FID card, two counts of improper storage of a firearm, and possession of large capacity feeding device.
On Friday, March 8, 2024 at approximately 11:47 am members of the Boston Police district C-11 Drug Control Unit assisted by members of the District Drug Control Unit executed a court authorized search warrant at 125 Norfolk Street in Dorchester.
As officers observed Vilbrun leaving 125 Norfolk Street in his vehicle, they conducted a stop and advised Vilbrun they had a court authorized search warrant for his person and residence. One officer also informed Vilbrun of his Miranda warnings, which he acknowledged he understood.
During a search of Vilbrun’s residence officers seized a Sig Sauer Pistol P365 with one bullet in the chamber and eight in the magazine; one Ruger Pistol LCP2 with a Pro-Mag extended magazine loaded with eight bullets; a plastic zip lock bag containing 84 .22 caliber bullets; a plastic bag containing nine small plastic bags and one paper-fold of a tan powder (suspected heroin) weighing approximately 14 grams; a gold colored digital scale with powdery residue located on top of the dresser; a black colored digital scale; one pink colored round pill preliminarily identified as Oxycodone (5 mg); two Luger nine millimeter bullets and one .22 caliber bullet; one large plastic bag that contained five plastic bags each weighing approximately 28 grams of a chunky white powder for a total of approximately 140 grams; one plastic bag of an off white chunky rock like. substance (approximately 18 grams of suspected crack cocaine); $2300.00 of United States currency; two plastic bags of a chunky white powder (approximately 10 grams of suspected cocaine).
Vilbrun is scheduled to be back in Dorchester District Court for a probable cause hearing on May 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM.
