Although New York’s Jalen Brunson had a game high 34 points and Jason Tatum, at an under average 19 points, the Celtics still managed to handle the New York Knickerbockers. In a game, which once again proves that, with this Celtics team, you never know who is going to get it done.

Jaylen Brown with 30 points and Kristaps Porzingis, with 22, led the Celtics into a game where the Knicks just couldn’t hang on. With an eighth straight win, the Celtics continue to lead the league with the best record of 45-12. Injuries to Philadelphia to Joel Embiid, makes Boston a forerunning team to beat out of the East.

By no means will the road to a championship be a cakewalk but with the Celtics playing stellar defense and offensive production coming from a plethora of Celtics players, it will be nothing less than an upset if the Celtics don’t take this to a championship level, once the playoffs begin.

Six different Celtics with double figures shows the versatility of the team and the ability to produce offensively, coupled with a staunch defense normally leading in steals and blocks, the Celtics must remain focused as we come down the stretch of the second half of the season.

“We’re preparing for the things that matter most,” stated Jaden Brown in the press conference after the game, this year’s Celtics team it seems will stay prepared and centered.
