New England Revolution Acquire $125,000 From Minnesota United FC For Jordan Adebayo-Smith

The New England Revolution have acquired $125,000 in 2024 General Allocation Money, or GAM, from Minnesota United FC in exchange for the Affiliate Priority Player Rights for forward Jordan Adebayo-Smith. If certain performance-based conditions are met, the Revolution could receive up to $50,000 in additional GAM.

Adebayo-Smith spent the 2023 season with the Revs’ USL affiliate, Revolution II, and scored 12 goals with five assists across 27 appearances for the team. The 12 goals led the team.

The forward also started all three of New England’s 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoff matches and registered one assist in the team’s conference quarterfinal win over Philadelphia Union II.

The Revs’ season begins on Feb. 24 as they go on the road to take on DC United. The match is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.
