Boston Celtics Sweep Doubleheader Against Cleveland Cavaliers

The Boston Celtics hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers on both Tuesday and Thursday night at TD Garden in Boston, MA. The Celtics held the top record in the Eastern Conference headed into the back-to-back.

Three starters scored over 20 points for the Celtics on Tuesday as they defeated Cleveland 120-113. Both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored 25 points, and Kristaps Porzingis scored 21 in the win. Derrick White added 17 points of his own.

Tatum and Brown also led the way for Boston on Thursday night as the Celtics defeated the Cavs for the second time in three nights in a 116-107 victory. Tatum scored 27, and Brown added 22 points.

The win also helps the Celtics remain undefeated at home this season. They are now a perfect 12-0 this season at TD Garden.

After this back-to-back, they will host another back-to-back over the weekend against the Orlando Magic. The first game will be played on Friday with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
