Giovanny Toro Gallego, 47, of Providence, Rhode Island pleaded guilty on Wednesday to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
On June 24, 2023, members of the DEA Task Force executed a court-authorized search of Gallego’s residence and seized approximately 2.8 kilograms of fentanyl in the form of pills and powder; two pill presses, designed to manufacture pills containing fentanyl; and punch die for marking pills.
Gallego is scheduled to be sentenced on February 15, 2024.
