Rhode Island State Police Friday night at about 10:51 PM responded to an erratic operator on Route 295 North, in the Town of Smithfield.
Troopers eventually located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and arrested Matthew J. Wool, age 42, of 167 Pilgrim Avenue, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Wool was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense.
Wool was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
