Army 17, Holy Cross 14

The Crusaders made a huge fourth and goal stop that’s made headlines, but that didn’t help them get a victory. They were down 14-0 through three quarters, but were unable to complete the comeback.

James Madison 44, UConn 6

James Madison continued their dominance in the FBS and kept theri undefeated season alive with a blowout win over UConn. Quarterback Jordan McCloud threw a career-high 457 yards in the win.

Merrimack 35, Central Connecticut State 24

Merrimack quarterback Malakai Anthony threw three touchdowns to lead them to a victory over the Blue Devils. Running back Tyvon Edmunds Jr scored the other two touchdowns on ground, including the game-sealing score with 5:45 left.

New Hampshire 31, Monmouth 24

New Hampshire quarterback Max Brosmer, the leading passer in the FCS, threw two touchdowns, but it was freshman Matt Vessa who threw the game-winning touchdown – on his first completion of his career – to lift them over Monmouth.

Yale 36, Princeton 28 (2OT)

College football’s oldest rivalry gave us a classic as Yale bested Princeton in double overtime. It was the 145th time these two teams met.

Harvard 25, Penn 23 (3OT)

Penn overcame a 20-10 halftime deficit to force overtime. After both teams kicked field goals in the first overtime and neither scored in the second, Harvard score the game-winning two-point conversion as Cooper Barkate found Jaden Craig to lift the Crimson Red over the Quakers.
