The Harvard Red Crimson hosted the Howard University Bison at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, MA on Saturday afternoon. They were looking to remain undefeated on the season.
The lone touchdown of the first quarter came at the 8:26 mark as running back Isaiah Abbey scored from one yard out. In the second quarter, quarterback Charles DePrima threw two touchdowns in a 1:24 span, and Harvard scored 21 points in the second quarter, taking a 28-0 lead at halftime.
Abbey scored his second touchdown run at the 11:17 mark of the third quarter, a 52-yard run, and Harvard was working on a shutout up until the final four minutes of the game.
With 3:36 left, Howard running back Tony Bedell scored an eight-yard touchdown. Unfortunately for Howard, it was too little, too late as the Red Crimson went on to win 48-7. They are now 6-0 on the season.
Harvard will head down to New Jersey for their next game against Princeton. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
