The Connecticut Sun defeated the Indiana Fever on Friday night. This gives the Sun back to back wins and keeps them in third place with a record of 20-7.

The Sun had six players in double figures with Tiffany Hayes as their leading scorer. Hayes scored 18 points in the win.

DeWanna Bonner added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the win. Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Natisha Hiedeman both had 10 points to contribute to the win.

Ododa also had 10 rebounds giving her a double-double. The triple double all time leader Alyssa Thomas didn’t reach triple or double-double status in this game but came close having 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Dijonai Carrington also reached double figures with 11 points off the bench.

For the Fever the number one pick Aliyah Boston led the way with 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Kelsey Mitchell, Erica Wheeler, and Emma Cannon all reached double figures as well. Mitchell scored 13 points, Wheeler had 12 points, and Cannon finished the night with 11 points.

Connecticut continues their road trip now traveling to Seattle to face the Storm on Tuesday. Tip off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
