Wednesday afternoon in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena, the Connecticut Sun hosted the Atlanta Dream, and with an 82-71 win, the Sun snapped the Dreams seven-game win streak.

For the Sun, Natisha Hiedeman led the way with a career-high 24 points, going a career-best six for seven from behind the arc. 

Hiedeman also added three rebounds, three assists and a season-high four steals. 

In the third quarters alone, Hiedeman tallied 20 points, which marks a new franchise record for most points scored by an individual player in a quarter. The previous record was held by Courtney Williams, who tallied 16 points in a single quarter against the Washington Mystics on June 18, 2018.  

Atlanta was led by Rhyne Howard who tallied 22 points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals.

The Sun lead the season series, 2-1, and will meet the Dream for the final time in the regular season on Saturday in Atlanta.
