Markey DesRuisseaux, 30 of Bridgeport, Connecticut, died on Friday a week after he was hit while on a motorcycle.
DesRuisseaux was known for playing football for the Connecticut Chiefs. He was also a standout quarterback at Stratford High School in Connecticut and played defensive back at Snow College.
We spoke to his former teammate, friend, and Sports Analyst at NewsTalk New England Quanterrius Lovett.
“I played on my first pro team with him for the Connecticut Chiefs,” Lovett said. “We used to train together. He used to travel two hours to play with me. Him and I went at it in the tryouts. Ever since, we played Madden together and were always heavy on football.”
