Worcester Red Sox Wrapping Up 5-Game Series Against Buffalo With Sunday Doubleheader

On Sunday afternoon the Worcester Red Sox will wrap up their five-game series against the Buffalo Bisons at Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo. With two wins on Friday and the third win against the Bisons on Saturday, Worcester has already won the series and look for their first series sweep of the season with two wins on Sunday. 

In Sunday’s 13-4 win, Palka had three runs while Duran, Dalbec, Sogard and Alfaro each had two, and Goodrum and Allen had one each.

Duran and Allen both had three RBI while Alfaro had two and Dalbec, Palka, Goodrum, Crook and Hamilton each had one. 

Worcester Red Sox LHP Brandon Walter (0-1, 12.27), is expected to start for Worcester in game one Sunday, and in game two RHP James Paxton (NR) is expected to start for Worcester. 

First pitch at Sahlen Field is at 12:05 pm and game one and two can be heard on 98.9 NASH Icon.
