Maine Playoff Preview

The Maine Celtics will take on the Cleveland Charge on March 29th in the first round of the G-League Playoffs.

The Maine Celtics went 19-13 on the season with two straight wins to end the season.

The season ended with Mfiondu Kanbengele winning G-League player of the week averaging 27 points and 16.5 rebounds over the past week.

Maine will hold home court advantage as they hold the four seed compared to Cleveland who has the five seed.

Cleveland comes in with a record of 18-14 and are on a current four game win streak of their own.

Sharife Cooper who was the G-League Player of the Month in January is a name to look out for in Cleveland as he is also their leading scorer averaging 21 points per game.

Another player to look out for on the Main Celtics is Luka Samanic who won the G-League Player of the Month in December who is currently averaging 22 points per game himself. 

The winner of the matchup will face either the Delaware Blue Coats or the Long Island Nets depending on what takes place in Washington D.C on the 28th as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants take on the Capital City Go-Go.
