At approximately 10 am on March 14th, 2023 Patrol Officers from the Nashua Police Department were dispatched to a convenience store in the south end of Nashua for the report of a Motor Vehicle Accident resulting in a Criminal Threatening with a Firearm.
Upon arrival, Patrol Officers discovered that a plow truck had been struck by a vehicle operated by Wesley Quiroz.
A verbal argument ensued between Quiroz and the plow truck operator escalating to Quiroz brandishing a firearm.
Detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division furthered this investigation and obtained an arrest warrant charging Quiroz with Criminal Threatening with a Firearm, a Class B Felony.
Quiroz was arrested by the Nashua Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit on March 16, 2023.
A Class B Felony is punishable by up to 7 years in State Prison, exclusive of fines. Quiroz was held in Preventative Detention and is scheduled for arraignment on March 17, 2023.
