At the United States District Court in Worcester on Tuesday, Jose Rivera, 24, of Worcester was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a machine gun.
At his initial appearance before U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy, Rivera was detained pending a hearing set for March 10, 2023.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Rivera was “During a search of Rivera’s Worcester residence today, three Glock switches – including one attached to a Glock .40 caliber firearm – were recovered from Rivera’s bedroom.”
