On Wednesday, the New England Revolution II announced that defender Victor Souza from Boston College has an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract ahead of the 2023 season.
Souza, who is an Ozone Park, N.Y. native was selected 39th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft in December.
At Boston College, Souza made 48 starts and logged nearly 4,400 minutes played. He played every minute for the Eagles in 2019, earning ACC All-Freshman honors. He was named to the All-ACC Third Team in each of his last two collegiate seasons, earning an invitation to the 2023 MLS College Showcase last December.
With the addition of Souza, the Revolution II roster stands at 15 professional players entering the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season.
