On Friday, the New England Revolution held their third preseason match down in Florida. The club had a meeting with Nashville SC and earned a 1-0 shutout with Dylan Borrero netting the lone goal of the match in the 50th minute.
Homegrown Player Jack Panayotou recorded his second consecutive start of the preseason and played 68 minutes in New England’s midfield. The Cambridge, Mass. native has scored once in three preseason contests.
Defender Dave Romney and midfielder Latif Blessing, both acquired by New England during the offseason, appeared in the Starting XI and played 73 minutes in Friday’s contest.
Following training over the weekend, the Revolution will travel to Clearwater, Florida, for their fourth match on Tuesday against FC Cincinnati.
The Revolution will kick off their 2023 MLS regular season slate on Saturday, February 25, at Charlotte FC (7:30 p.m. ET).
