A high school basketball game in Middletown, Connecticut ended Tuesday with a fight involving both adult spectators and students.
School officials say a staff member at the game sustained minor injuries.
The fight started just after a varsity boys basketball game between Middletown and Weaver High Schools. School officials say what caused the fight was student-athletes engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct.
In addition to taking appropriate disciplinary action, school officials said that on Wednesday, the school’s crisis team, additional staff, and a police presence will be seen at Middletown High School.
