Tuesday night the Worcester kicked off their final six-game series of the 2022 season against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (AAA-New York Yankees). Worcester had the lead in this game until the bottom of the eighth.
This game got started for Worcester at the top of the first with Christian Stewart hitting a single, helping to get Jarren Duran and Emmanuel Valdez over the plate to make it a 2-0 ballgame. Johan Mieses hit a single to help drive in Christian Stewart and make this a 3-0 ballgame.
Going into the bottom of the third, Armando Alvarez got the RailRiders into this game, hitting a single to drive in Matt Pita and Blake Perkins to make it a 3-2 ballgame.
Ronaldo Hernandez made this a 4-2 ballgame with his thirteenth homer for the season at the top of the fifth.
With a run in the bottom of the sixth and two runs in the bottom of the eighth, the RailRiders made this a 4-5 ballgame.
