Boston Police Monday night confirmed they have arrested Ivan Y. Cheung, 42, of Quincy on 4 counts of Aggravated Rape, 4 counts Aggravated Rape of a Child, and 2 counts Aggravated Statutory Rape.
The Boston Police Fugitive Unit and Sexual Assault Unit arrested Cheung around 5:10 PM and Boston Police said the charges are from four incidents dating back to 2003, 2005 and 2006.
Boston Police said “A Sexual Assault investigation led to the utilization of a Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit (SAECK) which assisted detectives in identifying the suspect in connection to these separate incidents and could result in further charges as detectives continue their investigations.”
Cheung is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Tuesday and Boston Police say, “This investigation remains active and ongoing.”
