2 People Involved In Pelham, New Hampshire Boating Crash Taken To Massachusetts Hospital

New Hampshire State Police over the weekend responded to a boating crash involving a boat and a personal watercraft on Long Pond in Pelham, New Hampshire. The incident happened on Sunday around 3:07 PM. 

Pelham Police and Fire Responded to the scene first and rendered lifesaving first aid to two victims of the crash who were riding on the PWC. One victim was transported to a local Massachusetts hospital and the other was med-flighted to another Massachusetts hospital.

New Hampshire State Police said “The PWC was operated by a female who had another female passenger on board. The PWC was operating at a high rate of speed and struck a boat that was floating, with the engine off, with four occupants on board. Three of the passengers were able to jump off the boat just prior to being struck. No one on the boat that was struck sustained serious injuries.”

“The crash is under investigation,” New Hampshire State Police said.
