Massachusetts State Trooper Uninjured After Drunk Driver Hits His Cruiser

Massachusetts State Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Randolph who was driving drunk and crashed into a State Police cruiser. 

It happened just after midnight on Sunday as a Trooper was assisting a disabled motor vehicle I-95 northbound in Sharon. A 2014 Mercedes E35 struck the cruiser. 

The Trooper requested EMS and additional patrols respond to their location.

The three occupants of the Mercedes were all transported to Good Samaritan with minor injuries. 

Upon release from the hospital, the operator was arrested by members from H Troop and he was taken to H-3 SP Foxboro where he was booked and charged with OUI: Liquor, Open Container, Operating to Endanger, Failure to comply with Move Over Law and Operating a vehicle at a speed in excess of the posted limit

The Trooper involved evaded with no injuries.
