Boston Police officers on patrol in the area of Washington Street in Dorchester around 7:00 P.M. Friday, observed a motor vehicle with a rejected inspection sticker. Officers conducted a traffic stop and as officers approached the vehicle, Boston Police alleges the occupants made several movements which led officers to believe their was a weapon in the car.
“Officers removed the occupants and recovered a loaded firearm while conducting a pat frisk of the vehicle. Zakar Bell-Warren, 20, of Boston was taken into custody without incident,” said Boston Police.
Bell-Warren has been charged with Carrying a loaded firearm without a license, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device.
