Triple Ws For New England Monday With The Red Sox, Celtics And Bruins

The Celtic’s Monday night were on the road in Oklahoma City where they claimed a 132-123 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Celtic’s have now won nine of their last ten games. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics Monday night with thirty-six points, seven rebounds and six assists. In his last five games combined Tatum has had 145 points. Brown had twenty-five points, three rebounds and one assist while Grant Williams had twenty points, ten rebounds and one assist. White and Pritchard both had eighteen points while Theis had nine points. Both Horford and Hauser had three points.

The Bruins were up in Montreal on Monday night for a matchup with the Canadiens. Brad Marchand had goals and Connor Clifton had one goal for the Bruins while Jake Allen had one goal and Savard had one goal for the Canadiens. The Bruins won this one 3-2 to claim their sixth W in March.

Down in Florida, the Red Sox have been on a roll since winning their Spring Opener last Thursday against the Twins 14-1. Friday they got a W against the Rays, Saturday they got their third W against the Twins again, on Sunday they got their fourth W against the Orioles and then on Monday they claimed their 5th W with a 5-0 win against the Braves. In the first inning on Monday Bogaerts scored. In the 5th inning both Duran and Sanchez scored. In the seventh inning Araùz scored and then in the ninth Fitzgerald hit a homer. On Tuesday the Red Sox will play the Rays at Charlotte Sports Park and their looking to roll it back in an attempt to get their sixth W in Spring Training.
