MBTA Transit Police have confirmed that a person was shot on board an MBTA bus in Boston.
Around 10:25 AM Monday, Transit Police responded to the vicinity of Morton and Blue Hill Ave for a report of a person shot on board an MBTA bus.
Transit Police says “Upon arrival officers located a 30 year old male suffering from an apparent gun shot wound to his leg.”
The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim and the alleged shooter, Transit Police says “Were engaged in a verbal altercation prior to the incident.”
