From North Country to Southern New England, Wednesday night was a good night for some college hoops. For some at least it was a good night but for others it was an upsetting and disappointing night.

Leading the Bulldogs to their 73-59 win was Senior Peter Kiss and Junior Charles Pride who both had 24 points. Pride had eight rebounds and two assists while Kiss showed up with six rebounds and five assists.

At the Hart Center in Worcester at Holy Cross, in the first round of the Patriot League Championship American University claimed a 69-63 win against the Crusaders.

Back in Rhode Island, at the Ryan Center in Kingston. Saint Louis claimed an 80-74 win against URI. For the Rams, Senior Jeremy Shepard showed up to this game with sixteen points, five rebounds and one assist.

Up North, in Bangor, Maine at the Cross Insurance Center over six thousand people showed up to see the Maine Black Bears and the Vermont Catamounts. Senior Ryan Davis who had sixteen points in this game, helped lead Vermont to their 75-56 win against Maine.

College hoops wrapped up late in the Chestnut Hill section of Boston with the Miami Hurricanes claiming an 81-70 win against Boston College. The leader of this game for Boston College was Worcester native Makai Ashton-Langford who showed up with twenty-one points, four rebounds and one assist.
