Late Tuesday afternoon at around 3:10 p.m. State Police in New Hampshire responded to the US Post Office in Rumney, New Hampshire for a report of an adult male shot.
New Hampshire State Police confirmed that the shooter was Dean Kenneson of Rumney, NH. and that he and the victim knew each other and were engaged in a verbal altercation in the post office parking lot.
During the altercation Kenneson fired a handgun at the victim and the victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his torso.
New Hampshire State Police said Kenneson was arrested and has been charged with 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault and Reckless Conduct with a Firearm.
