Maine State Police on Tuesday arrested 24-year old Joshua Prestwood of Easton, Maine in connection with the shooting of his girlfriend.
Last week when Prestwood’s girlfriend was shot, He told police that it happened during a home invasion and that the suspects fled before police arrived.
After an investigation, Maine State police arrested Prestwood for domestic violence aggravated assault, theft by unauthorized taking, and domestic violence reckless conduct.
Maine State Police say that the victim is in stable condition.
