Amid concerns about rising COVID-19 cases and the spread of the omicron variant, students at the University of Connecticut will not be returning to class for the spring semester. Instead, spring semester classes will be online.
The school says that the first two weeks of classes will be online and campus move-in has been pushed back from January 15 to January 29.
The school says that it plans to require students to get a COVID-19 booster shot if they are eligible.
