The Week Ahead At Polar Park

By Tiffany Williams –

With Rochester now in our rearview mirror, it’s time to focus on the week ahead. The WooSox are returning home to Polar Park for a 6 game homestand against Yankees AAA, the RailRiders who are in first place in the Northeast Division.

After a six game stretch against the Rochester Red Wings, WooSox will have Monday off.

WooSox will return to play at Polar Park on Tuesday night with the first pitch against the RailRiders at 6:35 p.m.

These are the top two teams in the division, so Tuesday night should be some good baseball and as if being the top two teams in the division isn’t enough, let us not forget one of the longest standing rivalries in baseball is between the Red Sox and the Yankees, these are their two AAA teams squaring off. Also, the Boston Red Sox have now won six straight against the Yankees, so the pressure is on for the WooSox in this homestand.

Every Tuesday is a Polar Park photo collection giveaway. So if your at the game you’ll get a Polar Park photo.

With this homestand running through Sunday July 4th, the weekend will feature post-game patriotic fireworks presented by UniBank following the games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

During the week, Polar Park Ambassadors conduct tours of Polar Park. Tours are available seven days a week beginning at 10AM and ending at 5PM. On weekends when the team is home, the last Saturday tour begins two hours before gametime, and no tours are scheduled before Sunday games.
