Two buses called the “Vax Bus” began making their way around Massachusetts on Saturday and will travel throughout the Bay State through July 15.
The buses are expected to reach about twelve communities, will spend a day or two in each community and the buses will host three free vaccine clinics a day. The vaccines will be given on the buses and no appointment is needed to get a vaccine.
Health officials in Massachusetts say that 80% of adults in the Bay State have had a least their first vaccine dose and more than 400 million Bay State residents are fully vaccinated.
The “Vax Bus” will make stops in Attleboro, Brockton, Pittsfield and Springfield. For the full schedule of the “Vax Bus” visit mass.gov/VaxBus.
