On Monday morning at about 5:44 a.m. officers with the Boston Police Department assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) were informed that an adult female who had been stabbed was dropped off at an area hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Joelkiss Gutierrez-Hidalgo, 22, of Dorchester was the suspect and he was arrested by Detectives assigned to the Homicide Unit.
Gutierrez-Hidalgo has been charged with Armed Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault and Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
