Worcester Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting.
Just after 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of 1 Maxwell St. for a report of gunshots.
Upon arrival officers located nineteen-year-old male who had been shot.
Worcester Police has not yet identified the victim but family and friends have identified the victim as 19-year-old Brandon Dirsa.
The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for what Worcester Police says were “serious injuries.”
