At the District Court in Lynn, Jahleel Sanders Williams, 17, was arraigned today for felony murder and attempt to commit a crime in connection with the April 16th shooting death of Amoy Blake.
Blake, who was accompanied by Williams, allegedly put a gun to a 20-year-old Lynn man’s head during an attempted armed robbery. The man then shot Blake with his own legally licensed weapon and Williams fled.
The man called 911 for an ambulance which transported Blake to Union Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Williams is charged with felony murder which means as a participant in the alleged armed robbery, he is criminally liable for any deaths that occurred while committing that felony.
Judge Cathleen Campbell ordered Williams held without bail and a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf.
