About Our Community Partnership
NewsTalk New England Cares is a year-round community service and engagement initiative bringing together four organizations with one shared purpose: giving back to the communities we serve and showing residents that we genuinely care about their well-being.
Crime Trackers Massachusetts, NewsTalk New England Cares, Complete Security & Technology Solutions, Inc. (also known as Complete Security LLC), and Brewster Ambulance are joining forces to develop and carry out 55 community service and engagement programs throughout the year.
Together, these four organizations will work to make a positive difference in the lives of children, families, senior citizens, veterans, first responders, individuals experiencing homelessness and residents throughout Central Massachusetts and surrounding communities.
Our partnership is founded on the belief that community service is about more than financial contributions, sponsorships or occasional charitable events. It is about showing up, getting involved, listening to residents, building relationships and making a genuine effort to improve people’s lives.
Whether we are hosting a neighborhood cookout, providing holiday gifts to children, serving meals to people experiencing homelessness, visiting senior housing communities, supporting local animal shelters or bringing families together at a fire station, our message remains the same.
We care about our communities, we care about our neighbors, and we are committed to giving back.
Through our 55 programs, we intend to establish a consistent and visible presence in the communities we serve, not simply when there is an emergency or a special occasion, but throughout the entire year.
Why We Are Coming Together
Every community is made up of individuals and families with different experiences, challenges and needs.
Some families struggle to afford groceries, school supplies or holiday gifts. Some senior citizens live alone and rarely have opportunities to socialize. Some children need positive role models, encouragement and opportunities to participate in activities outside school.
Others are experiencing homelessness, financial difficulties or personal hardships that make everyday life challenging.
At the same time, communities benefit when residents have opportunities to meet the police officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, security professionals, journalists and other individuals who work in and serve their neighborhoods.
We believe organizations that serve the public should also make an effort to connect with the public beyond their everyday professional responsibilities.
That means getting out into neighborhoods, meeting families, sharing meals, supporting charitable causes and creating welcoming environments where residents feel appreciated.
Our four organizations are coming together because we believe meaningful community engagement requires participation, consistency and a willingness to give our time and resources.
We do not want our involvement to be limited to writing checks or placing our names on event banners.
We want to be present.
We want to meet the people who live in our communities.
We want to hear their stories, understand their concerns, celebrate their accomplishments and help when help is needed.
Most importantly, we want residents to know that the organizations participating in this partnership are invested in the communities they serve.
Why These Community Programs Are Needed
Community service programs help address immediate needs while creating opportunities for stronger relationships and a greater sense of belonging.
A Christmas toy drive can help make the holidays brighter for children whose families are experiencing financial difficulties.
A community food pantry can provide groceries to a family struggling to put food on the table.
A free haircut can help a child prepare for the school year or give someone experiencing homelessness a renewed sense of dignity.
A senior citizens’ luncheon can provide companionship to someone who may otherwise spend much of the day alone.
A community cookout at a local fire station can give children an opportunity to meet firefighters, explore fire apparatus and learn about the people who respond when emergencies occur.
A basketball game between police officers and teenagers, followed by a neighborhood cookout, can create opportunities for positive interactions and lasting relationships.
These activities may seem simple, but their impact can be meaningful.
They bring people together, encourage kindness, create connections and remind residents that their communities are supported by people and organizations willing to invest their time.
Our partnership recognizes that community engagement should not be limited to one age group, neighborhood or population.
We want to create opportunities for everyone to participate, whether they need assistance, want to volunteer or simply want to spend time with their neighbors.
Our Mission
The mission of our community partnership is to give back to the communities we serve by bringing people together, helping those in need, supporting families, recognizing community service and building meaningful relationships between residents and local organizations.
Through 55 year-round community service and engagement programs, Crime Trackers Massachusetts, NewsTalk New England Cares, Complete Security & Technology Solutions, Inc., and Brewster Ambulance are committed to demonstrating compassion, encouraging volunteerism and making a positive difference in the everyday lives of Massachusetts residents.
Our mission is simple:
To serve our neighbors, strengthen our communities and show through our actions that we care.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a lasting community partnership that residents recognize not only for the services our organizations provide professionally, but also for the contributions we make to the communities around us.
We envision a partnership where children have opportunities to participate in positive activities, families can access assistance during difficult times, seniors feel valued and connected, veterans receive recognition, and residents can develop stronger relationships with first responders and community organizations.
We want our programs to become familiar annual traditions that families look forward to and communities take pride in hosting.
From holiday celebrations and summer cookouts to food distributions, neighborhood improvement projects and public safety engagement events, our goal is to make giving back a consistent part of who we are.

Our Five Pillars of Community Service
Pillar One: Giving Back and Helping Those in Need
Compassion in Action. Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Our first pillar focuses on meeting basic needs and extending a helping hand to individuals and families experiencing difficult circumstances.
Through programs such as the Christmas Toy Drive, Holiday Food Basket Program, Monthly Community Soup Kitchen, Mobile Community Food Pantry, Weekend Meal Backpack Program, Homeless Outreach Care Packages and The Little Pantry Project, our organizations will work together to provide direct assistance to residents.
We recognize that food insecurity, homelessness and financial hardship are not limited to the holiday season.
That is why our commitment to helping those in need will continue throughout the year.
Our goal is to offer assistance with dignity, respect and compassion while encouraging neighbors to support one another.
Pillar Two: Community Connections and First Responder Engagement
Building Relationships Beyond the Emergency.
Our second pillar is centered on bringing residents and first responders together through positive, informal and family-friendly activities.
We believe that community relationships become stronger when people have opportunities to interact outside emergencies and professional responsibilities.
Our programs will include Coffee with a Cop, Coffee with a Firefighter, the Community EMS Appreciation Cookout, Fire Station Family Cookout Day, Police and Teens Community Basketball Game & Cookout, First Responder Appreciation Breakfast and other public safety engagement activities.
As part of our Fire Station Family Cookout Day initiative, we plan to host five cookouts annually at five different fire stations across Central Massachusetts, in coordination with participating fire departments.
Families will have opportunities to enjoy complimentary food, meet firefighters, visit fire stations and learn more about fire safety.
Our Police and Teens Community Basketball Game & Cookout will combine friendly athletic competition with a free community gathering, giving teenagers, police officers and families an opportunity to interact in a relaxed environment.
These events are about more than food, sports or entertainment.
They are about making connections, developing familiarity and creating positive experiences that strengthen community relationships.
Pillar Three: Families, Children, Seniors and Veterans
Making Every Generation Feel Valued.
Our third pillar focuses on supporting residents at every stage of life.
We want children to have positive experiences, families to enjoy opportunities to spend time together, seniors to feel connected and veterans to know their service is appreciated.
Programs under this pillar include the Back-to-School Family Picnic, Anti-Bullying School Campaign, Easter Dinner for Seniors, Valentine’s Day Senior Outreach, Mother’s Day Community Appreciation Cookout, Father’s Day Community Appreciation Cookout and Veterans Community Appreciation Dinner.
We also intend to reach out to the Worcester Housing Authority and other housing organizations to explore partnerships for Senior Social Connection Lunches.
These lunches would provide older residents with opportunities to enjoy a meal, meet neighbors and participate in community activities.
Our goal is to create welcoming events that encourage participation, reduce isolation and remind people that they are important members of their communities.
Pillar Four: Health, Wellness and Compassionate Care
Caring for the Health and Well-Being of Our Neighbors.
Our fourth pillar focuses on promoting health awareness, wellness education and compassionate care for individuals, families and animals.
Programs will include the Community Health and Wellness Fair, Free Blood Pressure Screening Event, CPR and AED Awareness Workshop, Men’s Health Awareness Event, Diabetes Prevention Education Day, Maternal Health Resource Fair and Healthy Families Community Cookout.
Working with qualified medical professionals and participating health care organizations, we will seek to make health education and preventive resources more accessible to community members.
This pillar also includes our commitment to animal welfare.
Through programs such as the Animal Shelter Food Donation Drive, Community Pet Adoption Awareness Day, Pet Food Assistance Pantry and Holiday Gifts for Shelter Animals, we will support local animal shelters and families caring for pets.
We believe that caring for a community means recognizing the well-being of people and the animals that are part of their families.
Pillar Five: Community Pride, Volunteerism and Neighborhood Improvement
Working Together to Build Stronger Neighborhoods.
Our fifth pillar focuses on encouraging residents to take pride in their communities and become active participants in making them better places to live.
Programs will include Community Neighborhood Cleanup Day, Community Playground Improvement Day, Neighborhood Beautification Day, Community Garden Tool Drive, Community Bus Stop Improvement Initiative and Worcester Community Service Weekend.
We will also bring residents together through events such as the Fourth of July Community Celebration, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, Community Restaurant Fundraising Nights and the Community Heroes Recognition Program.
Our annual Community Impact Festival will bring together the four partner organizations, community volunteers, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, families and first responders for a celebration of service and community involvement.
These initiatives will encourage teamwork, promote neighborhood pride and provide opportunities for residents to contribute directly to their communities.
Four Organizations Working Together
Our partnership brings together four organizations committed to contributing their time, experience, resources and community relationships to a shared mission.
Crime Trackers Massachusetts
Crime Trackers Massachusetts will participate in charitable outreach, public safety engagement and community service initiatives that support families, strengthen relationships with first responders and encourage safer, more connected neighborhoods.
NewsTalk New England Cares
NewsTalk New England Cares will serve as the community service and engagement initiative connecting the partnership’s programs, charitable activities, volunteers and community outreach efforts.
Through its relationship with News Talk New England, the initiative can also help raise public awareness about community needs, charitable opportunities and upcoming events while respecting the newsroom’s editorial independence.
Complete Security & Technology Solutions, Inc. (also known as Complete Security LLC)
Complete Security & Technology Solutions, Inc. will participate as a community partner, supporting charitable activities, volunteer engagement and community events that bring residents and local organizations together.
Brewster Ambulance
Brewster Ambulance will participate as a community partner, with opportunities to support EMS appreciation activities, community engagement, health awareness and other charitable initiatives.
Together, the four organizations will coordinate activities according to each partner’s available resources, operational responsibilities and agreed participation.
We recognize that successful community service requires cooperation. Our partnership will welcome additional support from local businesses, restaurants, schools, police and fire departments, municipalities, nonprofit organizations and community volunteers.
Our Commitment to Central Massachusetts
Central Massachusetts is home to diverse neighborhoods, hardworking families, dedicated first responders, community organizations, local businesses and residents who care deeply about the places they call home.
Our four organizations want to be part of that community spirit.
We want to be present at neighborhood cookouts, community celebrations, charitable food distributions, senior lunches, youth activities and volunteer projects.
We want children to recognize familiar faces at our events.
We want senior citizens to look forward to our visits and community lunches.
We want families to know that when they attend one of our cookouts or community celebrations, they are welcome.
We want individuals experiencing hardship to know there are people and organizations willing to help.
And we want first responders to know that their service is recognized and appreciated.
Our commitment is not about publicity, recognition or receiving something in return.
It is about giving our time, extending a helping hand and demonstrating that community service matters.
Measuring Our Community Impact
As our programs develop, we will work to measure the difference they make.
This may include tracking the number of meals distributed, toys donated, food pantry locations established, families assisted, seniors served, community events hosted and volunteers participating.
We will also evaluate community feedback and identify opportunities to expand successful programs into additional neighborhoods.
Our objective is not simply to host 55 different activities. It is to make those activities meaningful, sustainable and beneficial to the people they are intended to serve.
A Promise to Our Communities
NewsTalk New England Cares represents a shared promise from Crime Trackers Massachusetts, NewsTalk New England Cares, Complete Security & Technology Solutions, Inc., and Brewster Ambulance.
A promise to show up.
A promise to give back.
A promise to support our neighbors.
A promise to bring families and communities together.
And a promise to demonstrate through our actions that we genuinely care about the people and communities we serve.
From a Christmas toy drive to a neighborhood cookout, from a hot meal for someone experiencing homelessness to a senior citizen enjoying lunch with neighbors, we believe that even the simplest act of kindness can make a difference.
We cannot solve every challenge facing our communities, but we can do our part.
We can give our time.
We can share our resources.
We can bring people together.
And we can make sure that community service remains at the heart of this partnership throughout the year.
Four Organizations. One Community. One Commitment to Giving Back.
