Rhode Island – Two men arrested in separate incidents following investigations conducted by the Rhode Island State Police.

At 2:43 p.m., troopers arrested Scott Chase, 60, of West Greenwich, os a charge of Duty to Stop for an Accident Resulting in Damage to an Attended Vehicle. Police say the arrested came from a “Be on the lookout” (BOLO) alert issued by the West Greenwich Police Department. Troopers later located the suspect vehicle on New London Turnpike in West Greenwich.

Chase was taken to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace. He was later released pending a further appearance in the Third District Court.

Later, at 4:50 p.m., Lee Bromley, 60, of Exeter, was arrested on multiple outstanding bench warrants. Police said the warrant includes failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of Possession of a Schedule-IV controlled substance and failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of driving with a Suspended License. All underlying charges originate from the Greenwich Police Department.

Troopers conducted a warrant check at Bromley’s residence on Hog House Hill Road in Exeter and located him at the home. He was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing and later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake.
