In preparation for the upcoming season, the Boston Red Sox have announced the addition of three non-roster players to their 2024 Spring Training roster. Right-handed pitcher Melvin Adón, infielder/outfielder Joe Dunand, and infielder/outfielder Dalton Guthrie will join the team in Spring Training, bringing with them a diverse set of skills and experiences sure to benefit the club.

The Massachusetts Pirates have announced the signings of offensive lineman Jake Guidone and former NFL defensive back Matt Elam, two players with impressive credentials. The Pirates also resigned quarterback Alejandro Bennefield.

The Connecticut Sun announced that two-time WNBA All-Star and seven-year league veteran Brionna Jones has re-signed with the team on a one-year deal, solidifying their roster for the upcoming season.

New England Revolution II have signed goalkeeper John David Gunn to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract ahead of the 2024 season, bolstering their roster with a skilled netminder. The team looks forward to seeing his contributions on the pitch.

In an effort to strengthen their football program, Rhode Island University announced the signing of five talented athletes to their 2024 roster on Wednesday. This group includes three high school standouts in quarterback Tyler Baker, wide receiver Thomas Buxton, and defensive back Antonio Morgan who have all committed to play for the Rams after signing their National Letters of Intent. Additionally, two transfer students from other collegiate institutions – offensive lineman Jamaree Thomas and safety Terrelle Spruill will also be joining the team.

The Boston Celtics have made some strategic moves to strengthen their front court as the NBA season approaches its stretch run. They have acquired Xavier Tillman from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Lamar Stevens and two future second-round picks. This trade gives the Celtics much-needed depth in the front court. As part of the deal, Memphis will receive the Atlanta Hawks’ 2027 second-round pick and the Dallas Mavericks’ 2030 second-round selection.

In another trade, the Celtics picked up guard Jaden Springer from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for a second-round pick. Additionally, the team has agreed to send Dalano Banton to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for a protected second-round pick. The Trail Blazers will also receive cash considerations in the trade. These moves demonstrate the Celtics’ commitment to improving their roster as they gear up for the final stretch of the season and beyond.
