After playing to a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United FC last Saturday the New England Revolution, who are 13-5-9, 48 and 2nd in Eastern Conference, Saturday night will be on the road to face the Colorado Rapids who are 3-13-10, 19 pts and 14th in Western Conference. 

In the 38th minute last Saturday Carles Gil made a right footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner assisted by his brother Nacho Gil with a cross. In the 90th minute Franco Fragapane of Minnesota United FC made a right footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner assisted by Dayne St. Clair. 

In last Saturday’s draw, Nacho Gil recorded his second straight game with an assist in his third consecutive MLS start.

With last Saturday’s goal, Carles Gil now leads the New England Revolution with eight goals in the 2023 regular season and is also the team leader with 12 assists.

Earl Edwards Jr. in last Saturday’s match made five saves in his fifth start of the season.

Saturday night’s match at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. and can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ-FM) or 1260 AM Nossa Radio in Portuguese.
