Worcester Police Arrest Male With A Firearm At WRTA Bus HUB

On Friday, May 12, 2023 Worcester Police Arrested Pablo Roman Jr at 60 Foster Street in Worcester for possession of ammunition without FID, carrying a firearm without a license, trespassing, and disorderly conduct. 

At approximately 12:18 AM, Worcester Police dispatch received a call that a man was brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. Dispatch was informed that the man was cocking what appeared to be a working firearm. 

The male, who was later identified as Pablo Roman Jr. was located by Worcester Police at 60 Foster Street (The WRTA Bus Hub). Officers could see the firearm through a hole in Romans pants. 

After a short foot chase, Roman was taken into custody. 

Officers also recovered a loaded magazine from Romans pants. 

At his initial appearance in Worcester District Court, Judge Harold Naughton entered a plea of not guilty for Roman. Judge Naughton also ordered that Roman be committed to the Worcester County Jail pending the completion of a dangerousness hearing on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Roman also has another open case out of Worcester District Court. On October 28, 2022, Roman was arrested for Breaking into a depository, B&E, Assault, Threat to Commit A Crime, and Vandalizing Property. 

Because Roman has committed another crime, the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office has filed a motion to revoke bail and will be heard on the motion on May, 17, 2023.
