Early Monday morning around 5:39 a.m. Worcester Police responded to the area of 38 King Street for a report of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival officers located a thirty-one-year-old male who had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital to be treated where he was later pronounced deceased.
At this time the victim has not been identified however Worcester Police confirm that the that victim was from Boston.
Worcester Police confirm that since June 1st there have been 11 non fatal shootings and 3 fatal shootings in Worcester.
This homicide incident is being investigated by the Worcester Police Detective Bureau and anyone with information should call (508) 799-8651.
